How to use it well
How do I know what a graded card is worth?
Look up recent sold prices for the same card at the grade you expect, for example in eBay sold listings. Asking prices are usually higher than what cards sell for.
What does break even graded value mean?
It is the graded sale price at which grading and selling raw leave you with the same money, after grading costs and any marketplace fees.
Which grade should I enter?
Start with the grade you realistically expect, then try one grade lower. Centering, corners, edges and surface all count, and a Cardmatic Condition report can help you judge them from photos.
Not sure what grade to expect?
A Cardmatic Condition report explains centering, corners, edges and surface from your photos and compares grading costs against value scenarios. The Free plan includes 5 a month.
