Product updates

Every set now has one page with search, type and rarity filters, plus want list hearts and owned badges right on the cards. Filters stay in the link, so a filtered set can be bookmarked or shared.

Your browser can now keep your card photos after the first view, so returning to your collection usually shows them without downloading them again.

Switching to another window or app and back no longer reloads the dashboard or Settings. Coming back refreshes your dashboard, want list and shipping queue quietly in place, at most once a minute.

Repricing suggestions and the weekly digest now cover every card you have listed, including collections with more than 1,000 cards.

The privacy policy now explains the daily totals that help us improve Cardmatic, such as how many scans finish or how often an upgrade button is used. They hold no account, browser or IP information and follow the same opt outs. It also describes the last activity time kept for signed in accounts.

The Cardmatic website has a new home page, feature pages, pricing, a grading calculator, guides and comparisons, plus browsable card and set pages. The new Cardmatic logo now appears across the app, emails and app icons.

Collector Dark is now the default for anyone who has not picked a theme. If you chose the light theme, it stays.

The upload page now has short, visible descriptions for photos, the camera and CSV import, and shows which plans include original quality HD uploads.

Profile, Marketplaces, Email & notifications and Plan & billing are now listed under Settings in the left menu instead of tabs across the page.

Pages like Settings and Upload no longer download your whole collection before they can show anything, big collections only draw the cards on screen, and your profile photo no longer travels with every page.

Profit and loss, set progress, grading return estimates and daily portfolio history now include every card in collections over 1,000 cards.

A sign-in that expired earlier in the day is now refused the next time it is checked, instead of working until midnight UTC.

Pairing tools and Find matches now sit on one line on phones instead of wrapping.

An installed Cardmatic app on Android, or in Chrome on a computer, now picks up a new icon when it changes.

A card can only be added to or moved into a collection that belongs to you.

Collection counts in the sidebar now follow every change you make and no longer reload as you move between pages.

Referral credits are checked against your billing history before they are applied, so a credit is never applied twice.

Pricing research, marketplace sync, payments and condition reports now stop waiting on a slow outside service instead of hanging, so the rest of the page keeps working.

Add Cardmatic to your home screen or desktop and it opens in its own window, with shortcuts to Scan cards and Collection. On supported browsers, Install app in the menu offers to install it or shows the steps for your device, and a lost connection shows a Cardmatic offline screen instead of a browser error.

Want list deals, price targets, marketplace sync problems and referral news can now reach your phone or computer. Turn on Alerts on this device in Settings and send yourself a test alert. On iPhone, add Cardmatic to your Home Screen first.

When live matching is available, the camera on phones now fills the screen like your own camera app, with a round shutter, a swipeable stack of matched cards and a larger card guide.

Live matching now checks a card as soon as you hold it still, and the next check follows straight after the last answer.

When you are signed in and live matching is available, hold a card in the camera guide and its name, set, number and raw market price appear once Cardmatic is sure. The guide shows when it is looking, when to hold steady and when a card matches. Nothing is saved until you add the photos and run Find matches.

Every card matched while the camera is open is listed with its price and a running total. Remove any you do not want, then add the rest to your batch in one tap. Each photo stays with the card it matched.

Take one photo of a binder page and Cardmatic finds each pocket, from 2 by 2 up to 4 by 4 layouts. Confirm the grid, tap any pocket to leave it out, and each card joins your batch cut from the full resolution photo.

Near the free batch limit, a front and back pair now joins whole or not at all, and you are asked first when your photos will not all fit.

Photos dropped before sign-in finished loading now wait for it, so a paid account is never held to the free batch limit.

Card recognition now runs on newer models that identified every card in our test set and answered in about two seconds. If the first model is busy, the backups now answer quickly too, so a slow moment no longer adds long waits to a scan.

When the catalog values a raw card under $1, its suggested value now comes from the catalog. eBay asking prices rarely go that low, so the eBay median used to suggest several times what common cards are worth. eBay comparisons are still shown and you can pick them with one click. Graded cards keep the eBay suggestion.

Japanese and other non-English cards now search eBay by card name, number and language instead of an English set name, which often found nothing or a different card. In our tests, most Japanese cards went from no useful comparisons to a full page of the right card.

Cards now default to the eBay active median when it is available, then the catalog market estimate, and otherwise save as Not valued. Confirm & save is always ready for a complete identity, and any value you choose yourself still takes priority.

Cardmatic now looks up eBay active listings for every matched card in the background, a few at a time, so the suggested value is usually waiting when you get there. Anything you change on a card before its research lands is kept.

Search catalog & all markets now refreshes catalog candidates, catalog estimates, TCGPlayer data, and eBay comparisons together. Research can reorder catalog candidates but never changes the card identity you confirmed or a value you selected.

The toggle between the catalog match and the AI-read details is back in the review panel where it is always visible, instead of hidden behind Change match.

Saved cards now show a green outline and a green Saved pill, so it is obvious which cards in a long batch are finished.

Selecting a card far down a long batch no longer jumps the page back to the top. The review panel now travels with you and scrolls its own contents when it is taller than your screen.

When a scan fails or is missing a set or number, the research search stays available so you can find the right card and continue, instead of being locked out until the identity is complete.

Select a card by clicking anywhere on its row. Confirm & save sits on the selected row, while Change match and Scan again live in the review panel beside it.

Identity, pricing choices, and market research for the selected card now share one panel, so you can move through a batch without changing screens.

On smaller screens the review panel opens as a drawer with the same identity, pricing, and research tools, and returns you to your place in the list when you close it.

Each row shows the value and source you are about to save, and batch saving confirms exactly the cards and values shown. Cards whose identity changes after review must be checked again before they save.

The collection filter panel now stays anchored beneath the filter bar as you scroll through a long collection, and resizes to fit your window instead of drifting off screen.

Publishing to eBay is now protected against repeated submissions, and a card with a publication still being confirmed is held rather than listed twice.

If an eBay publication is interrupted, Cardmatic now reconciles it against your eBay account instead of assuming it failed, so your listing status stays accurate.

Tax exports are now checked for completeness first. If any sale cannot be reconciled or uses a currency other than USD, Cardmatic tells you what to resolve rather than producing an incomplete report.

Returning from checkout now verifies the purchase against your account and current subscription and explains any mismatch, so plan changes are never applied to the wrong account or out of order.

Price alert emails now open the exact card in your collection, and want list alerts open the matching catalog card, instead of a general search.

Save shipping notes, store policies, or a seller sign-off as presets, choose a default, and apply one to single listings, bulk listings, and supported CSV exports without changing the card description.

Cardmatic now builds concise titles and mobile-friendly descriptions from verified card details, prioritizing the card name and number while including useful condition, grading, finish, language, rarity, and set information.

Custom listing titles and descriptions now stay separate from catalog text and private notes, so listing edits do not overwrite card reference data or expose collector-only notes in buyer-facing exports.

Live listings and eBay CSVs now share consistent card details, preserve supported languages, and omit unknown condition or product values instead of guessing.

Certification numbers now have their own field, carry over from scans and completed grading submissions, and publish with supported eBay grading details and clearer grade validation.

Changes to listing copy, condition, language, finish, grading, or card identity now refresh the corresponding eBay title, description, item specifics, and condition details.

Before changing, relisting, or ending an existing eBay listing, Cardmatic verifies that the remote offer belongs to the selected card. New live Add feeds are also blocked for cards already linked to eBay.

Russian, Arabic, and Thai can now be recorded explicitly and carried into eBay listing details and supported exports.

Paid plans now preserve original HD, camera-resolution, and 300 DPI uploads while preparing a smaller analysis copy only when identification needs one.

When a listing photo falls outside eBay image requirements, Cardmatic prepares a compatible delivery copy while leaving the stored original untouched.

Bulk listings now prefer an explicit price, then a saved sale price, then trusted market data without borrowing an unrelated English catalog price for a localized card.

Connect eBay in a separate window from the listing you are preparing, keep your work in place, and continue as soon as the connection is ready.

Clear checking, success, retry, and error states now prevent disconnected listing attempts and reveal eBay Store categories as soon as the account connects.

Each report explains centering, corners, edges, and surface findings with numbered markers tied to the supporting front, back, and angled-light photos.

Saved reports keep their evidence and revision history with the card. Download a private HTML copy that prints cleanly or can be saved as a PDF.

Unusable or missing evidence is labeled Not assessed instead of receiving a guessed score, and the report combines confidence, value context, fees, and break-even guidance for the next decision.

Cardmatic now derives all corner close-ups and full edge strips from both scans, measures a usable back border when the front is borderless, and highlights the findings driving the estimate.

Adjust card-edge and border lines with free dragging, pixel snapping, labels, live measurements, and a 10x native-pixel loupe. Every accepted adjustment is kept as a report revision.

Usable lower-resolution photos now show a warning instead of being blocked, while unreliable geometry is left unmeasured rather than presented as a precise result.

Condition reports, retained evidence, revisions, and exports remain owner-only and are delivered with protections against public indexing, referrer leakage, and caching.

Choosing Use this identity now opens pricing and starts catalog research automatically. The search stays editable when you need a narrower query.

Review recent TCGPlayer sales and market price points for the trusted English catalog match alongside the rest of your research.

eBay comparisons now open on active listings. Switch to Sold whenever you want completed comps.

The selected value and Save card action now sit before the supporting research. Choosing a pricing reference does not replace the card identity or photos you confirmed.

Choose one primary and an optional secondary custom Store category while preparing a single card or a bulk listing. Public eBay item categories remain separate.

Create a category at the Store root or under an eligible existing category, then let Cardmatic check eBay until it is ready.

Upload an image or use a generated tile, then download a prepared 300 × 300 image and finish publishing it in Seller Hub.

Marketplace settings now distinguish connected and disconnected accounts correctly.

Sign up or sign in from the login and registration pages with your Google account.

New collectors still choose a unique Cardmatic username and accept the current terms and privacy policy before their account is created.

If a Google email matches an existing Cardmatic account, sign in to that account before connecting it. Accounts are never merged automatically by email.

Review connected sign-in methods in Profile settings and disconnect one whenever another sign-in method remains available.

Deleting a Cardmatic account also removes its connected sign-in methods, so no social sign-in remains attached after the account is gone.

Cardmatic now waits until your recovery email enters the delivery queue before reporting success, and shows an error when that step fails.

Manage product news, collection digests, card alerts, marketplace activity, and grading or import updates from one Settings tab.

Set collection digests to Off, Weekly, or Daily. Your choice stays aligned with the digest control in Automation.

Manage the same preferences from a delivered Cardmatic email without signing in, and without putting your raw email address in the link.

Turn off every optional category at once without disabling account, security, recovery, verification, or billing messages.

Optional email is checked before it enters the delivery queue and again before transport, so later preference changes are honored.

The signed credential is removed from browser history after landing, and the preference page is delivered with private no-store protections.

Switch the price-history chart between TCGplayer and saved eBay observations, with a clear reference state until enough eBay observations exist to draw a trend.

See the latest three months of Cardmatic features, improvements, and fixes from the public site or the in-app help navigation.

Verification, password recovery, card alerts, want-list alerts, and collection digests now share one polished Cardmatic design.

Request a reset from the login page and choose a new password from a dedicated recovery screen.

Collection summaries include current metrics and action links, while price-target and want-list alerts make the card and next step clearer.

Every active customer email now includes designed HTML and a complete plain-text alternative for broader inbox compatibility.

Identification now carries language through catalog searches and avoids attaching English-only pricing to mismatched regional printings.

Review each card identity first, then choose catalog pricing, eBay sold comps, a custom price, or no price before saving.

Filter cards that are ready, retry failures, and save confirmed matches in batches without losing your place.

Card detail now distinguishes live provider data from saved eBay references and records when a price was captured.

Catalog prices now refresh in controlled batches with retry protection and propagate trusted values to owned cards.

Landing pages now show current Cardmatic workflows for collection, scanning, grading, automation, and selling.

Supported holo and special-finish cards now receive richer visual treatment without altering collector-uploaded photos.

Selling tools now distinguish live eBay actions, CSV exports for other platforms, and Shopify features that are still coming soon.

Account creation and public navigation now connect directly to Cardmatic terms, eligibility rules, and privacy information.

Webhook verification now rejects tampered notifications and handles valid eBay deletion events more reliably.

Core workspaces now share clearer spacing, hierarchy, loading states, controls, and responsive behavior.

Cardmatic gained a broader theme foundation with coordinated colors, surfaces, typography, and interaction states.

Collection, research, selling, account, and help destinations now come from one consistent navigation system.

Shared collections now distinguish self-reported, photo-backed, and verified entries and keep their value totals separate.

Card detail, listing preparation, public showcase controls, and marketplace pricing now provide clearer decisions and safer actions.

Privacy information now explains limited first-party analytics, offers an opt-out, and honors supported browser privacy signals.

The FAQ and tutorial now cover more of the real collection, grading, selling, billing, privacy, and showcase experience.

The upload screen now puts the most common card capture choices first and makes each path easier to scan.

Pricing rules, alerts, and scheduled activity now live in a cleaner workspace with clearer status and controls.

Pre-grade results now make photo evidence and condition findings easier to review before you decide what to grade.

Card names, set names, rarity, sorting, and modal images are more stable and readable across collection views.

Listing status, card updates, CSV exports, and downstream sync failures now resolve more reliably and show clearer errors.

Community profiles load more quickly, with lighter list previews and faster portfolio totals.

Navigation is regrouped into clearer sections so collection, selling, and system tools are easier to find.
